Spring has sprung
March 21, 2016

It felt like the shortest and warmest winter ever... Can't believe spring is already here to be honest. Saw flowers blooming when I was riding my bike, so I headed back to take my camera and I'm so in love with the results I might use one of these as my phone lockscreen. Ha. Anyways I am loving the weather lately, it hasn't rained all week and the sun shines so brightly it makes me all smiley hehe :-)
Also been obsessed with Pretty Little Liars lately although I always do the "ugh" whenever the girls have a fight without any decent reason... I'm looking for new series to watch so if there's anything good... recommend me some plzz!

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice
You've made it now

I don't remember taking these particular photos apparently scheduled for a post on May 23, 2014. They never made it onto the bloggersphere. For the sake of simply not having any new content, here's a little trip down memory lane - 4 photos describing my little trip to one side of Northern France, taken in the spring of 2014.
March book haul
March 15, 2016
The initial intention was to just grab a cup of hot chocolate, but of course I couldn't resist to look through the shelves at Paard Van Troje. Picked up The Makioka Sisters because I was so intrigued by the title, and when seeing Carry On between the other Rainbow Rowell's books I just knew I had to get it. I have read other books by her and absolutely loved them, so I figured I'll love this one as much.

Surprise birthday picnic
March 10, 2016
For Randa's 22nd birthday, my friend Amina and I planned a surprise picnic at the park. We were so blessed with such a nice weather, knowing that it has been raining all week. That day was just fun and laughter and tears and views and getting puzzled look by strangers. I don't think I can even think to communicate with anyone who wasn't there about this; this day was so wrapped up in friends and comfort and love, it would be hard to even pick apart and explain, let alone try and make you feel the same things we did.

It's been cold in Belgium (what's new lol) and temperatures have dropped tremendously but celebrating life and especially the weekends in general have given me enough warmth to keep me going. I spend several days of my week in Brussels and it only feels right to put an appreciation entry I've been wanting to post for weeks now, but keeps getting postponed because of me loathing the weight of my DSLR.
